All good things must come to an end, and Chicago's Hamilton will pack up after three years of performances this January. The Windy City production opened in September 2016 and will play approximately 1400 performances by the time the run concludes at the CIBC Theatre.
“More people have seen “Hamilton” in Chicago than any other city, including New York,” said producer Jeffrey Seller. That’s attributable to the CIBC Theatre’s much larger seating capacity than Broadway’s Richard Rodgers Theatre “Chicago has been a cornerstone of our mission to make Hamilton as accessible to as many people as possible. We’ve loved our time here, and you can bet that ‘we’ll be back."
The final block of tickets will go on sale on Friday, May 17 at 10:00 a.m. and will be available at CIBC Theatre Box Office, the Broadway In Chicago Ticket Line (800-775-2000) and online at www.BroadwayInChicago.com.
